USS Chosin (CG-65) docks up at Townsville

Arriving yesterday at Townsville was the USS Chosin (CG-65). USS Chosin is a Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser serving in the United States Navy. She is named in honor of the Battle of Chosin Reservior of the Korean War. Commissioned in 1991, she is currently serving in the Pacific Fleet, based in Pearl Harbor.

Noted on the vessel was a Sikorsky SH-60B Seahawk as photographed below.
